After rolling out new updates for its smartphones, Samsung has now started updating its tablets, and one of the first ones to receive the new Android 13 operating system is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Some of the users in France who own the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite have started receiving the new update that brings the company’s custom interface One UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 operating system.

As of now, the update is limited to the LTE model, and that too within France. However, we expect the update to roll out to the Wi-Fi only as well as to other regions in a few weeks or months.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite LTE version (SM-P619) is getting a new firmware version P619XXU1BVK6. Although its the 2022 model of the device getting the update, the 2020 model is also eligible to receive Android 13 update and the rollout could take place soon.

Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite features a 10.4-inch LCD screen offering a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution, which supports the included S Pen stylus. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper at the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling. It comes with a pair of AKG-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos support. As for the software, it runs the Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.0 custom interface and the device is powered by a 7,040mAh battery.
