After remaining inactive for around a week after the death of a prominent Chinese leader, Xiaomi’s Weibo account has finally become active. Apart from confirming the new launch date, the company rolled out a couple of posters to showcase the design of the Xiaomi 13.

The Xiaomi 13 series is all set to go official at 7 PM (local time) on Dec. 11 in China. The event will see the arrival of multiple products, such as the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, MIUI 14, Xiaomi Watch S2 smartwatch, Xiaomi Buds 4 TWS earbuds, and Mini Host desktop PC.

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will sport an identical design. Reports have claimed that the Pro model will be a larger version of the Xiaomi 13. Hence, they are expected to sport a similar design. Here is a look at the official images of the Xiaomi 13.

As can be seen, the Xiaomi 13 will feature a flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. In comparison, the Pro model will have a larger display with curved edges. On the back, the Xiaomi 13 has a square-shaped camera module, which houses three cameras, a dual-LED flash, and Leica branding.

The Xiaomi 13 is a flat-edged device with rounded corners. It has a volume rocker and a power key on the right. The top edge of the device has a couple of holes, which could be for a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker(s). The bottom edge of the device features a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The blue variant of the phone can be seen sporting a leather back. The green, black, and white variants of the device are expected to arrive with a glass back.
