Oppo has confirmed that it will announce its next foldable phones, the Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip, on Dec. 15. Oppo will not be the only company to release new devices on the specified date. Today, Motorola released an official confirmation that the Moto X40 will break cover on Dec. 15.

The Moto X40 will arrive as the successor to the Moto Edge X30, which debuted in December 2021. Since Motorola is no longer using Edge branding for its devices in China, the Edge X30 will be called the Moto X40. There have been some rumors that claim that Motorola’s upcoming flagship will be called the Moto X40 Pro.  However, as of now, the company is yet to confirm the said moniker.
