In addition, the Mate 60 series is said to be equipped with a chipset with the model number SM8525, which is likely the 4G-only version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. As mentioned, the Mate 60 series isn’t coming anytime soon.

A recent report revealed the specs and design of the vanilla Huawei P60. The handset is expected to feature a variable aperture lens that was first introduced with the Mate 50 model. It could come with an upgraded 64-megapixel telephoto sensor.

The front of the device could house dual selfie cameras, which might be fitted on a pill-shaped cutout. On the rear, the handset is expected to have the same twin circular modules, wherein the top one nests two large sensors and the lower one has an LED flash and another camera.

The P60 series could include more smartphones but we don’t have any details about them yet. Huawei is yet to officially confirm any details about the upcoming series. We should learn more about it in the coming days.
