Xiaomi has launched the MIJIA Smart Kitchen Treasure 7L S1 in China. The new MIJIA product delivers up to 2000W fast heating and supports silver ion antibacterial functionality. It can continuously the household’s hot water requirements.
Also called the Water Storage Electric Water Heater, the MIJIA Kitchen Treasure offers up to 6 times more improvement in capacity than its predecessor. The MIJIA Smart Kitchen 7L S1 will deliver all the hot water needs of the family at any time. It has a built-in seamless liner that prevents water leakage, as well as a dense polyurethane insulation layer. It provides 24-hour heat preservation.
The silver ion antibacterial activity prevents the growth of bacteria on the water inlet, outlet, and water by about 99.9%. The energy efficiency of the water heater translates to about 100kWh savings in power in a year.
You can connect the MIJIA Smart Kitchen Treasure 7L S1 to the MIJIA app for off/on and periodic operations management. It also supports voice controls via XiaoAI speakers. It can also be linked to MIJIA smart door locks, temperature, and humidity meters, and several other devices in the MIJIA smart home ecosystem.
The device is a safe device with several safety features in place to prevent electric shock and water leakage. If there is any leakage from the power line, the device instantaneously cuts off power to avoid electric shock. The device supports three-stage temperature adjustment (low, medium, and high).
The MIJIA Smart Kitchen Treasure 7L is retailed in China for 499 yuan (~$72). Xiaomi is yet to provide global availability information for the product.
