Lava is expected to launch the Lava X3 entry-level smartphone in India. Ahead of the launch, its landing page has gone live on Amazon India. The listing has revealed the design and key specifications of the Lava X3. While the launch date of the X3 is yet to be confirmed, the company is all set to start taking pre-orders on Dec. 20.

Those who pre-order the Lava X3 will get the Lava ProBuds N11 Neckband, worth Rs 2,999 (~$36), for free. The landing page of the phone available on Lava India’s website has confirmed that it will be sporting a waterdrop notch display on the front and a polycarbonate back with a metallic finish.

The Lava X3 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution. The company hasn’t confirmed the name of the chipset that powers the device. Leaked details that surfaced recently claimed that it is powered by a MediaTek chip. The exact name of the chip is not known yet.

The X3 will arrive with 3 GB of RAM and runs on the Android 12 Go edition. For security, it offers features like face unlock and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The device offers an 8-megapixel dual camera unit with an LED flash on the back. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Other reports have revealed that the Lava X3 will pack a 4,000mAh battery that supports charging via a USB-C port, offer 32 GB of storage, and have a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 165 x 76 x 9mm and weighs around 310 grams. It will come in three colors: Charcoal Black, Arctic Blue, and Luster Green. The Lava X3 is expected to cost around Rs 7,000 (~$84). It will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon India.
