In addition to its traditional offerings of mobile phones and cars, Meizu plans to release AR glasses, tablets, and watches in the future. The company will also reportedly have more cooperation with Lynk & Co in the future. The product matrix also includes plans for the Meizu Lipro smart home and Meizu PANDAER trendy life products.

Meizu CEO Huang Zhipan will reportedly serve as a strategic consultant for the brand’s products. Despite the acquisition by Xingji Times, Meizu has agreed to operate as an independent brand, and the top management will remain unchanged. In addition to these new products, the company is also reportedly working on the FlymeAuto car-machine system, which was announced in October of this year.

The system is described as the continuation of Meizu Flyme in the smart cockpit, and will reportedly feature two core architectures: Flyme Auto Core and Flyme Auto. The latter is based on the Flyme system and is described as a vehicle-mounted operating system that incorporates part of the capabilities of the Yikatong vehicle-mounted system.

Shen Ziyu, the new chairman of Meizu and vice chairman of Xingji Times, has previously revealed that the company is planning to release a new flagship smartphone in the coming year. He has also stated that Meizu will retain an independent team and continue to operate as an independent brand following the acquisition by Xingji Times. It will be interesting to see what new products and innovations Meizu has in store for the future as it expands its product offerings and continues to cooperate with Lynk & Co.
