Pantone, which is a color consulting agency, has announced Viva Magenta or Extraordinary Magenta as the 2023 Color of the Year. The color is a relatively purple-pink shade in the red color spectrum and is said to be inspired by the natural red dye inside the cochineal insect.

The Moto S30 Pro Pantone Edition is basically a Moto Edge 30 Fusion smartphone available globally. It features a 6.55-inch centered punch-hole 10-bit curved OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling along with support for HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut, and DC Dimming.

Under the hood, the device comes powered by a relatively older Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. There’s also a VC liquid cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature in check during intense workloads.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a triple camera system on the back, comprising a 50MP OmniVision OV50A primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide unit with auto-focus for macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, there’s a 32MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The phone, which has an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security, runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s MyUI custom interface on top. It is powered by a 4,270mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.
