As we edge closer to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch, there have been various rumors and leaks regarding the upcoming flagship grade smartphones. Now, a new report has revealed some interesting details about the base Galaxy S23 model.

Apparently, the South Korean tech giant is planning on making various improvements on the Galaxy S23. As per a tipster on Twitter, the Galaxy S23 and even the Galaxy S23+ will sport a new display panel that offers up to 1750 nits of peak brightness, which is higher than the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ that had offered just 1300 nits of brightness. On the other hand, the higher end Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to feature a display that offers a whopping 2000 nits of peak brightness.

Apart from this, The Galaxy S23 Ultra is also expect to be powered by the same 5,000mAh battery pack that is housed in the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This has been a standard since the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which had launched back in 2020. Although the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are expected to get a slight bump in battery sizes, with the former now arriving with a 3,900mAh battery pack while the latter featuring a 4,700mAh battery pack.

However, it seems like the base variant will still retain the rather slow 25W fast charging and the S23+ variant will retain the 45W fast charging similar to the previous generation. But both models will still come with Qi wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare reverse charging feature. This was all the information shared by the tipster so stick around for more updates regarding this matter.
