Acer has showcased a number of new products during the ongoing CES 2023 event. However, while most of these were updates to their existing series of gaming products. The SpatialLabs TrueGame is an innovative new technology that pushes 3D gaming forward.

Now, the company has brought a major update to SpatialLabs TrueGame, which basically allows for glass-free way to experience 3D gaming. This is made possible with the new 3D Ultra mode. This new feature offers a 3D gaming experience alongside enhanced stereo rending support with projecting images with depth and life like 3D geometry. This new update also brings 3D Sense that adds a collection of 3D stereo effects. TrueGame currently supports a number of AAA titles and some older classic games as well into the 3D realms.

Some of the games that support this technology includes God of War, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Octopath Traveler, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and Psychonauts 2. Notably, SpatialLabs emplys the eye tracking solution, stereoscopic 3D display and real time scene rendering technologies to make scenes, objects, and characters to appear as they would with a 3D glass being worn by a user. Jerry Kao, Co-COO, Acer Inc stated that “Game development is an art form that calls on developers to bring their dreams into amazingly realistic and enchanting 3D worlds. It is an endeavor that requires an enormous investment of time and creativity.”

The 3D Ultra mode in SpatialLabs TrueGame will be rolled out via a software update by the end of this month. It will be supported on the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition gaming laptop and the Acer SpatialLabs View display. Unfortunately, the exact specifications and availability of this technology will vary based on the regions.
