Earlier today (4th January 2023), LeTV silent announced a new smartphone in the Chinese market. The company unveiled a new budget 5G enabled device, but its design looks awfully similar to the Apple iPhone 14 Pro. So let’s have a look.
The Chinese consumer electronics maker has yet to reveal finer details regarding this device but has officially announced the new LeTV S1 Pro model. Under the hood, the upcoming handset is equipped with the Huben T7510 SoC, which apparently offers performance that can rival the Snapdragon 7 series from Qualcomm. This is a China made chipset that been popular for domestic brands in the region.

Unfortunately, the company did not share any other key details regarding this smartphone. However, its most highlight aspect is undoubtedly its design. Similar to the LeTV Y1 Pro+, which features an iPhone like design, the new S1 Pro features a physical appearance that resembles the iPhone 14 Pro series. The arrangement of the three cameras on the rear is nearly identical to the more expensive iPhone models, while the front also houses a pill shaped cutout, which the Cupertino based giant calls the Dynamic Island.
Although, it is still unclear if the brand aims to offer similar functionalities from this selfie camera cutout. The LeTV S1 Pro is set to be released in China for a price tag of under 1,000 Yuan or about 145 US Dollars.
