Motorola has released a tweet to confirm that it will announce the Motorola ThinkPhone during the CES 2023 tech exhibition, which will take place between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8 in Las Vegas. The Lenovo-owned brand has claimed that the ThinkPhone is a “business-grade” smartphone. The image shared by the brand gives a glimpse of its design.

The Motorola ThinkPhone can be seen sporting a textured back. Reports have claimed that the device has an aluminium frame and “aramid fibre inlay” rear shell. A red-colored button can be seen on the edge of the device. The design of the phone is no secret since leaked renders that have surfaced so far have revealed its design from all sides.

The Motorola ThinkPhone is likely to feature a 6.6-inch P-OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone will come preloaded with the Android 13 OS. A recent leak revealed that the device will offer productivity-focused features.

The ThinkPhone will come equipped with a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) +13-megapixel (ultra-wide) +2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. For selfies, the device will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support.

The ThinkPhone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants and 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage editions. It is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The ThinkPhone is expected to offer other features, such as 15W wireless charging, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IP68-rated body.

At present, there is no word on the Motorola ThinkPhone’s price. While the ThinkPhone will be a business-centric device, there could be a regular version of the phone. The latter could be called the Motorola Edge 40 Fusion.
