Tecno has entered the IoT segment. The brand has launched a 4G portable WiFi Hotspot dubbed TR109 in India. As the name suggests, it is a portable device that lets users connect to the internet with a reliable network. Read on to know more about the device.
The Tecno Portable WiFi Hotspot TR109 is a small rectangular-shaped device that is almost the size of a wallet. There is a power button on the front and two keys on the right side. The device has a vertical strip that displays signal strength, power, and battery information.
As for the core specifications, the Tecno Portable WiFi Hotspot TR109 features 2 x 2 MIMO technology which provides two spatial streams of wirelessly transmitting and receiving data on the same channel or frequency. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery unit with a 7-day standby period.
The Tecno Portable WiFi Hotspot TR109 allows for up to 16 simultaneous connections and ensures a stable connection among all users. It is said to eliminate issues such as delayed connections caused by multiple connected devices. The device has a plug-in SIM and WiFi everywhere structure. The TR109 has a WiFi speed 2.4GHz frequency range of 300Mbps with MIMO technology. It offers 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speed on a 4G network. Users can easily manage their WiFi and access devices using the Translink app.
The Tecno Portable WiFi Hotspot TR109 carries a price tag of Rs 2,499. It comes in White colour and can be purchased from Amazon starting today.
