In October 2021, Oppo launched the Oppo A56 5G smartphone, featuring the Dimensity 700 chip, in China. Now, it has quietly unveiled the Oppo A56s in China. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of A56s.
Oppo A56s 5G specifications and features
The Oppo A56s 6G has a 6.56-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device comes preinstalled with Android 12 OS with the ColorOS UI on top.
The A56s is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset and 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device comes in two storage choices, such as 128 GB and 256 GB. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.
On the front, the A56s has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel has a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The A56s has other features like a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, face unlock, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the Oppo A56s measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs around 186 grams.
Oppo A56s 5G price and availability
The Oppo A56s 5G is now listed for purchase on JD.com. It comes in two variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models are priced at 1,099 Yuan (~$292) and 1,299 Yuan (~$189), respectively. The A56s comes in colors like black and blue.
Apart from the A56s, Oppo has also announced the Oppo A78 5G in Malaysia. Rumors are rife that the same device will soon be heading soon to the Indian market.
