Almost a year ago, Huawei released a new smartphone dubbed Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G and sold it in limited quantities. As the name suggests, this device offered 5G connectivity. Additionally, it came with a Leica-powered camera system.
Two of these features are now not found on any recent Huawei-branded smartphones. Hence, if you are interested in getting a Huawei phone with 5G connectivity and Leica cameras, there’s good news for you.

As per a reliable tipster/dealer, the once world’s largest smartphone maker is expected to restock the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G. This handset was thought to be wholly sold out up until now. But apparently, the company seems to have a few units in stock somewhere.
The dealer has also revealed the price of the device. The phone will be available in two colors, such as white and black. The 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB memory variants of the white color model will retail at ¥5,399 and ¥5,799, respectively. Whereas, the black version of the same memory variants will be costlier by ¥300.
As far as specs are concerned, the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G comes powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 9000L chipset. Further, it features a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide unit, and a 12MP 5x telephoto shooter. On the front, it sports a 13MP snapper and ToF 3D sensor. These cameras offer Leica-style image processing.
Other highlights include a 6.76-inch 90Hz OLED display with a pill-shaped cutout, dual stereo speakers, a 4,400mAh battery, and 66W fast-wired charging support.
