Honor is gearing up to launch its next-generation Honor Magic 5 series of smartphones in its home country China which is expected to go official by the end of next month.

Now, ahead of the official launch of the Honor Magic 5, the upcoming smartphone’s design has been leaked online through tipster @SPinfoJP, revealing the phone’s back panel in multiple colors.

The leaked renders of the Honor Magic 5 confirms that the device will continue to adopt the center-aligned circular camera module consisting of three camera sensors aligned in a triangular pattern. One of the sensors in the setup is a periscope telephoto lens, and the module also has an LED flash.

There’s 100X written on the camera module, which means that the phone will have support for 100x zoom. Honor CEO Zhao Ming had previously stated that the Magic 5 series would be built as a high-end flagship with a leading camera, communication, and security.

As per the leaks, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.8-inch display with support for PWM dimming and offer a high refresh rate, most likely 120Hz. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, but the memory details have not been revealed yet.

The phone, which will be rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, will run the Android operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Magic UI on top. It will come with support for 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. We expect to know more details about the smartphone in the coming weeks.
