Motorola has announced a new colour option of the Motorola Fusion Edge 30 in India. The Lenovo-owned brand launched the smartphone in September last year. It was available in Cosmic Grey and Solar Gold colours. The new special edition colour model of the Fusion Edge 30 is called Viva Magenta. It was introduced in the US market last month.

Viva Magenta is Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2023. Motorola has a global exclusive partnership with Pantone in the smartphone category. Viva Magenta is said to convey what it means to blend the virtual and the physical with enthusiasm. Commenting on the launch of the new colour option, the Lenovo-owned brand said “As we engage in multiple spaces and places simultaneously, we blur the lines of what is tangible and digital and form our own hybrid identity. Viva Magenta symbolizes this relationship, highlighting how consumers use electronics to enhance their various personas and develop their own multifaceted self-expression”

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Viva Magenta sports a new material on the rear panel made from soft vegan leather. It retains the polished sandblasted aluminium frame with 3D glass inlay.

The core specifications of the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Viva Magenta colour remain the same. It features a 6.55-inch centre-aligned FHD+ OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The device has a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth snapper whereas on the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter. Internally, the Edge 30 Fusion is powered by a Snapdragon 888 paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4,270mAh battery cell with support for 67W charging.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Viva Magenta option carries an introductory price tag of Rs 39,999 instead of Rs 42,999. It will be available from Flipkart starting January 12th. Indus Bank credit cardholders can avail Rs 3,000 instant discount on EMI transactions whereas Jio customers will be eligible for benefits worth Rs 7,699.
