pTron has just launched the new Bassbuds Epic, which is a pair of truly wireless gaming earbuds. The company’s latest product offers a gaming aesthetic and features, so let’s have a look.
pTron Bassbuds Epic features an angular charging case with an LED indicator to show charge levels of the case and the earbuds itself. The Bassbuds Epic features the proprietary AptSense low latency solution that offers a closed acoustic for an improved immersive experience during gaming. Furthermore, each earbud offers an ergonomic shape paired with the brand’s proprietary audio drivers as well, which promise to offer deep bass, natural mids, and crisp highs.
Being a gaming earbuds, the new hearables offer a dedicated gaming mode that lowers the latency down to 40ms. For those unaware, most earbuds typically lower the latency to around 80ms but generally below 100ms, so there should feel a lot more responsive and in tune with the visuals during gameplay. The earbuds also feature a music mode as well as a multi function touch controls.
Other features include Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type C charging that supports quick charging that can fully charge the case in just 1.5 hours and the earbuds in just 1 hour. The wireless earphones also house a dual microphone setup with TruTalk ENC technology for clearer calls. The Bassbuds Epic is currently available for purchase on Flipkart for an introductory price tag of 799 INR, over its original 899 INR price, for the next 3 days.
