After teasing the launch of a new model of the Nubia Z50, ZTE has now officially started selling the Nubia Z50 Red Rabbit Limited Edition smartphone in its home country.
This smartphone is launched to celebrate the 2023 Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese calendar. The newly released device is now available for purchase in China for the price of 2,999 yuan (~$445) through ZTE Mall.
Coming to the specifications, the Nubia Z50 features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 10-bit color depth, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1000nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In the camera department, there’s a dual-camera setup on the back that features a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture and OIS support and a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with a 116° ultra-wide lens and autofocus support for macro shots. On the front side, the phone features a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The smartphone runs the Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MyOS 13 custom interface on top. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
