The iQOO 11 initially went official in December. It is now available in a number of Asian markets. Weeks after its release. The handset is advertised as a performance monster/gaming smartphone.

However, just like previous iQOO and Vivo phones, it lacks a few that is useful for gamers. Thankfully, that feature may finally arrive on the iQOO 11 via a software update.

Higher touch sampling rates are recommended for mobile gaming. The iQOO 11 does support up to 300Hz touch sampling rate (hardware-level). It also has support for up to 1200Hz instant touch sampling rate (software-based).

But the touch sampling rate is controlled automatically by the software. Users have no control over it. Vivo is of the few brands to not offer customization options for touch sampling.

This is finally going to change soon, as per Digital Chat Station. The tipster says that an OTA software update will enable customization settings for the touch sampling rate on the iQOO 11 in the coming days.

He also mentions that other iQOO and Vivo smartphones may also get this feature later. But unfortunately, he doesn’t list the eligible devices.

The iQOO 11 has one of the best displays on a smartphone in its price segment. It flaunts a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels (2K), 517 PPI, and 144Hz refresh rate (LTPO 4). The 10-bit screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has a centered punch hole.
