Itel, a brand that is mainly focused on launching entry-level smartphones in emerging markets, has announced a new phone called the Itel A24 Pro. It is a compact phone with a small display surrounded by chunky bezels. The front and rear sides of the phone are fitted with a single camera. The device supports 4G connectivity. The Itel A24 Pro has a 5-inch IPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 850 x 480 pixels. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. In its absence, the company offers a face unlock feature for biometrics.
The entry-level offering comes preinstalled with Android 12 (Go edition). It has a 2-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back and a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front. The polycarbonate rear shell of the phone has a trendy design.
The device packs a 3,020mAh battery, which can be charged via a microUSB port. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz Unisoc SC9832E quad-core chipset. There is no word on the RAM configuration of the device. However, the device ships with 32 GB of internal storage. For additional storage, it has an external storage slot, that supports up to 32 GB of microSD card. Lastly, the device measures 145.4 x 73.9 x 9.85mm.
Itel A24 Pro Price and Availability
The Itel A24 Pro is available for purchase in Bangladesh for BDT 5,990 (~$57). It comes in green color only. It is unclear which other markets will receive the Itel A24 Pro.
