Nintendo has just shared a warning to the owners of its popular handheld console, the Switch. The company is asking its users to be careful with a condensation effect that could damage the device. So here are all the details.

Most Switch users that are more worried about issues like the infamous Joy Con stick drift. However, there appears to be another major issue that could severely damage the new handheld console. The Japanese video game giant shared a new tweet from its Japanese support account. This tweet basically warned the owners of the Switch regarding a condensation problem and also gave tips on how to deal with this issue.

The company stated that Switch users should watch out for water droplets that can be caused by rapid changes in temperature. Apparently, water droplets could form if there is any significant temperature changes in the surrounding environment. This condensation could end up damaging the console. While Nintendo did share an image to showcase this issue, the art piece does not reveal if these droplets form underneath or on top of the display panel.

The company stated that if these droplets are spotted, one should completely power off their Switch console and not put it into sleep mode. Furthermore, one should also bring the handheld console into a warm room until it dries up. The tweet that shared the warning also came with a link that offers a direction on how to completely shutting down the Switch.
