We know that the OnePlus Nord Buds uses Bluetooth 5.2. Upgrading to Bluetooth 5.3 on the Nord Buds 2 will likely increase the battery life of the gadget. For those unaware, Bluetooth 5.3 offers faster switching between low-duty and high-duty cycles, which makes it more energy efficient than Bluetooth 5.2. Other than that, we can also expect better signal quality on the Nord Buds 2.

The recent CQC listing has revealed that the earbuds will have a charging rate of 1.5W, while the case will charge up to 4.5W. There will be a standard USB Type-C connector for charging. Other than that, we don’t know any further details regarding these upcoming earbuds. However, assuming that we are getting more than just a Bluetooth version upgrade, we can expect the earbuds to feature improved hardware and specs compared to the current Nord Buds.

When it comes to the Nord Buds, the TWS earbuds have a 12.4mm titanium dynamic driver. The 41mAh battery in each earbud, according to the company, can play music for up to 7 hours. The case extends the battery life by 30 hours. The earbuds are sturdy, with a flat stem design and an IP55 rating for sweat and dust protection.
