Acer has introduced a new range of Nitro and Swift laptops globally. These new laptops will come equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and will be available to buy in the coming months. These new laptops are called the Acer Nitro 16, Nitro 17, and Swift Go 14.

While the Nitro laptops are equipped with features to take on modern gaming titles, the Acer Swift Go 14 is more suited for streaming video content and professional use. Let’s take a closer look at these machines and find out what they bring to the table.

Acer Nitro 16, Nitro 17 specs

The Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 laptops both boast powerful specifications, starting with their display. The Nitro 16 has a 16-inch screen with a high 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut, and an impressive 84% screen-to-body ratio. The Nitro 17, on the other hand, features a larger 17.3-inch screen with a choice between FHD or QHD resolutions, also with a 165Hz refresh rate. Both models are powered by cutting-edge AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, with the ability to upgrade to 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. In addition, they come with advanced cooling technology, a customizable 4-zone RGB keyboard, and multiple connectivity options.

Acer Swift Go 14 specs

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a lightweight laptop with a sleek design, weighing less than 1.3kg. It boasts a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a high 90Hz refresh rate and a wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering vivid and bright visuals with a peak brightness of 500 nits. The laptop is powered by powerful AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and can be equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Acer promises a long battery life of up to 9.5 hours, making the Swift Go 14 ideal for on-the-go use. Additionally, the laptop features improved thermal performance and various connectivity options.

Pricing & availability

The Acer Nitro 16, Nitro 17, and Swift Go 14 laptops have been announced for various regions like North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and China. The Indian availability date is yet to be announced, however, other above-mentioned regions will get these devices starting May 2023. The Indian price tags are currently under wraps, however, the North American pricing has been announced. The Nitro 16 starts at $1,149.99 in North America, and the Nitro 17 starts at $1,199.99. Swift Go 14 prices begin at $849.99.
