The OnePlus Ace 2 was just launched in China earlier today (7th February 2023). Alongside the new smartphone, the company also unveiled the new Buds Ace model as well, which is a rebranded Nord Buds 2.

The Buds Ace has a design that is similar to its predecessor, the Nord Buds or Buds N. But despite featuring the same design, the latest model offers various improvements. The most notable inclusion is the addition of ANC technology (Active Noise Cancellation). Apart from this, the Chinese smartphone maker also houses a 12.4mm dynamic audio drivers for rich bass. However, the truly wireless earbuds only support the AAC codec.
The OnePlus Buds Ace comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.3 and even comes with 47ms ultra low latency mode for gaming. As per official notes, the new earbuds also offer up to 36 hours of battery life with the charging case but with ANC turned off. With ANC turned on, the battery life drops to around 27 hours in total. The new earbuds also support fast charging that offers up to 5 hours of audio playback with just 10 minutes of charging.

Unfortunately, the OnePlus Buds Ace does not feature wireless charging from its case. Other notable features include, dual microphones and AI call noise reduction, IP55 sweat and water resistance, touch controls, and voice assistant support. The Buds Ace is available in two color variants, namely an Open Black and White option. The earbuds are currently listed for pre-orders and will go on sale in China on 13th February 2023 for a price tag of 249 Yuan (roughly 36 US Dollars).
