Last year, Sony launched the WH-XB910N headphones with aggressive bass, decent noise cancellation, and an attractive price tag. They are not quite as premium as the company’s WH-1000XM5 headsets but are great for bass heads. The Japanese firm is also rumored to be working on the successor of the WH-XB910N. And today, a new report has shared the headphones’ design renders, color options, and even specifications. Here are the details.

New Sony Headphones

OnLeaks, in collaboration with 91Mobiles, has shared the design renders of Sony WH-XB910N’s Successor in multiple colors. As can be seen in the images, the headphones look quite a bit like the last year’s models. However, there are a few notable changes. For instance, the touch controls appear to have been replaced by physical buttons. There’s also a grille on the surface of the headphones, likely to enable ANC (Active noise cancellation).

Sony WH-XB910N’s follow-up is pictured in blue, white, and black colors.  The headphones are tipped to get DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), a technology developed by Sony to enhance the sound quality of compressed audio files. It will also have Bass Boost via a companion app for a better audio experience. In addition, the report suggests the upcoming hearables will use the V1 Chip to improve the noise cancellation performance. The headphones are said to offer a playback time of 35 hours with ANC enabled.

Further, the audio device could support a quick charge system to provide 1 hour of listening time with just 3 minutes of charge. The Sony headphones are said to support multi-point connectivity that will allow you to connect multiple devices to the same pair simultaneously.
