Redmi K60 series, which was launched a couple of months ago, was made available for purchase in the Chinese market a few weeks ago.

Today, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group and General Manager of the Redmi brand, has announced that the Redmi K60 512GB storage model will be available at a starting price of 2,999 yuan (~$439), offering a discount of 300 yuan (~$44).

The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at 2,999 yuan, which is around $439 while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 3,599 yuan, which is about $527.

Lu Weibing also announced that those who purchased the 512GB model will be provided with an insured price that those who purchased it earlier will be fully compensated for the price difference. Further, he adds that those users who purchased the remaining versions will get a Redmi Band 2.

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch OLED display offering a 2K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory.

In the camera department, there’s a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front side, the phone features a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

It runs the Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 14 custom user interface on top. The device is powered by a 5,500mAh battery which comes with support for 67W fast charging.
