OPPO has unveiled its first-ever foldable phone in the global markets. It is the Find N2 Flip and the device had debuted in China in December last year. OPPO says that the Find N2 Flip is a culmination of five years of R&D bringing together the best in foldable technology and design to create an inflexion point in the flip phone industry. With the Find N2 Flip, the brand now competes against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Motorola Razr 2022, and Huawei Pocket S in the foldable segment.

The global variant of the OPPO Find N2 Flip has the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. It is a vertical clamshell folding phone with a creaseless design for an enhanced user experience. The brand says that it has used aviation-grade materials to ensure that the small hinge has enough strength for folding needs with 10-year quality assurance. The device has a slightly boxy form factor and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

On the display front, the OPPO Find N2 Flip has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen bearing an FHD+ resolution, an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and HDR support. There is a large 3.26-inch secondary AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 382 pixels. It can be used to browse information, quick replies, answer calls, take quick photos, and do more tasks.

In the imaging department, the OPPO Find N2 Flip has a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP front-facing snapper housed in the centre-aligned punch-hole cutout of the main display. The brand has teamed up with Hasselblad to develop an imaging system that includes sensor colour calibration, natural colour optimization, and more. The Find N2 Flip also features the brand’s MariSilicon X dedicated NPU.

Under the hood, the OPPO Find N2 Flip houses a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. It packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The foldable phone draws its power from a 4,300mAh battery unit with support for 44W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip is priced at EUR 849 (~$1022) for the 8+256GB variant. It is offered in Moonlight Purple and Astral Black colours. The foldable phone is up for pre-orders in the UK and it will be available soon in other European countries and India. OPPO is yet to announce the availability and pricing for different markets.
