Vivo has just launched a new mid-range smartphone in India called the Vivo Y100. The device supports 5G connectivity and comes with a color-changing back panel. Let’s take a detailed look at its specs and features.

The Vivo Y100 is a newly launched smartphone that boasts impressive features. It has a large 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a 90hz refresh rate, and 1300nits peak brightness. The screen is HDR10+ certified and has a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC that features eight cores and a Mali G68 GPU. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with an additional 8GB of extended RAM support. The device runs on FunTouchOS 13, which is based on the latest Android 13.
The smartphone features a triple-rear camera setup, which comprises a 64MP primary shooter with optical image stabilization and two 2MP sensors. There is also a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y100 comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging via a Type-C charging port. It has a (hybrid) microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio certification. The phone is available in Metal Black, Twilight Gold, and Pacific Blue color options. The Twilight Gold and Pacific Blue models are capable of changing colors when exposed to sunlight. The shift to a shade of orange and aqua blue, respectively.
The device weighs 181 grams and has dimensions of 158.91 × 73.53 × 7.73mm. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y100 has Dual-SIM support, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo.

The 8GB + 128GB version of the Vivo Y100 is priced at Rs 24,999 in India.
