pTron has launched a new audio device in India. The brand has expanded its range of TWS earphones with the new offering called pTron Bassbuds Zen. pTron had announced the Basspods Flare last week. The Bassbuds Zen are affordable TWS earphones aimed at budget customers. The compete against other TWS earphones offered by brands like Noise, Boult Audio, boAt, and more in the market. The pTron Bassbuds Zen feature an in-ear design with a stem and silicone ear tips. There is a small Blue-colour LED light at the top of the stem. Users can control various actions with touch controls. The earphones are IPX4-rated water-resistant.
In terms of audio, the pTron Bassbuds Zen is equipped with a 10mm dynamic driver. It features quad mics and environmental noise cancellation up to 30 dB. The audio device comes with a TruTalk feature for clear quality on calls. There is also cinematic 3D spatial sound. The TWS earphones support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with SBC and AAC audio codecs. They also support voice assistants.
The pTron Bassbuds Zen is powered by a 400mAh battery unit that is claimed to offer 50 hours of playtime with the case. There is a USB-C port that is said to offer 4 hours of usage with 10 minutes of charging.
The pTron Bassbuds Zen carries an introductory price tag of Rs 999 for a limited time after which it will be available for Rs 1,199. It is offered in Napoli Black and Cobalt Blue colours. The TWS earphones can be purchased from Amazon.
