A tipster has just revealed some of the key specifications regarding the Black Shark 6 series of high end gaming smartphones. The device is the successor to the Black Shark 5 series, so let’s have a look at the rumored features.
The latest information regarding the Black Shark 6 series arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). These upcoming premium gaming handsets will reportedly sport displays that features 2K resolution and a center aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. This panel is likely be a straight OLED panel that offers high refresh rate. According to the tipster, the Chinese smartphone maker’s upcoming flagship phones will also features a ceramic body.

Digital Chat Station also added that the Black Shark 6 and Black Shark 6 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Furthermore, the new devices will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that will also support an impressive 120W fast charging rate. Finer details regarding the camera is still at large, but at least one of the image sensors on the rear will be a Sony IMX686 sensor, which is a 64 megapixel shooter.
Other notable features revealed by the tipster is a large sound chamber for the symmetrical dual stereo speakers as well as a robust cooling system. The thermal management system on the new device will apparently be the strongest active cooling tech offered by the brand so far, which is not surprising since the Black Shark 6 series will be gaming centric and feature top notch hardware.
