Portronics has launched a new USB dock in India. It is dubbed Mport 13C and as the name suggests the device is a 13-in-1 docking station with a host of ports for different needs. The latest offering is a bit different from the Mport 11C that was announced last September. Read on to know what the Mport 13C offers out of the box.
The Portronics Mport 13C looks like a surge protector in terms of dimensions. It has a total of 13 ports. The device features an aluminium-alloy magnesium body making it strong and resistant to scratches. Additionally, the Mport 13C has such a shape and rubbed feet that it also doubles up as a laptop stand and also ensures a better grip.
The Portronics Mport 13C is a multi-port docking station that is compatible with laptops, MacBooks, smartphones, and PC peripherals (like keyboards, mice, external storage devices). It has two USB-C ports and four USB 3.0 ports for high-speed data transfers. There is an SD card slot, micro SD card, Ethernet port, 3.5mm jack, HDMI, VGA, and a Type-C PD 3.0 port. With the ethernet port, users can enjoy a 100Mbps high-speed internet connection. The laptop can also be connected to an external monitor via a VGA or HDMI port. The multi-port docking station supports up to 87W charging when a laptop is connected with the Thunderbolt 3/PD pass-through port.
The Portronics Mport 13C carries a price tag of Rs 3,999. It comes with 1-year warranty and can be purchased from the brand’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, and leading offline stores across the country.
