Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Lite on Feb. 26 for the global market. Once the global launch is done, the Chinese wing of the brand is likely to gradually shift its focus to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which will be the company’s most powerful flagship phone. Rumors are rife that it may break cover in April this year. Well before the launch, the publication TechGoing shared case images of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, revealing its rear design.

As can be seen, the alleged case for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra reveals that its design will not be too different from the China-exclusive Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which debuted last year. The leaked images show that the 13 Ultra has a humongous round-shaped camera module like its predecessor. A side view of the case reveals how much the camera island will protrude from the rest of the back.

The case images show four round-shaped cutouts at the centre. Rumors have claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a quad-camera setup, which will be headlined by a 1-inch, 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera. The main snapper is said to be equipped with gimbal optimization.

There is a pill-shaped cutout at the top inside the camera module. The remaining cutouts available inside the camera island could be for the LED flash and microphone. Coming to the edges of the phone, its right side has cutouts for volume up/down buttons and a power button. At the top, there are some cutouts, which could be for the speaker, a microphone, and an IR blaster.
