According to Digital Chat Station, the forthcoming flagship tablets from Xiaomi will be powered by either MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, the base model of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 870, in contrast to the Snapdragon 860 used in the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 5. Based on past models, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro could potentially come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Additionally, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series may receive upgraded displays with resolutions of up to 2.8K or 3K, surpassing the 2.5K screens of the Pad 5 series.

Previous design leaks have revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6’s camera module will look a lot like the one present on the Xiaomi 12 smartphone. The display could have a 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate and offer support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The battery is expected to be a dual-cell unit with a 10,000mAh capacity, and offer 67W fast charging.
