The Redmi 12C is scheduled to launch in Indonesia on March 9. It looks like the phone may also debut in other regions on the same day.

For instance, the handset was prematurely listed on Amazon Brazil with the price tag for a while. In this country, the smartphone will retail at 1058.99 Brazillian Real ($205) for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

As far as the features are concerned, the Redmi 12C is expected to arrive with the same set of specs in international markets, as it does in China. Only the pricing will vary across countries.

The device is built around a 6.71-inch HD+ display (LCD) with a dewdrop notch. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and boots MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

It comes with a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. It not only offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor but also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

Finally, the handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and charges via a MicroUSB port.
