The IOQO Z7 5G is scheduled to launch on March 21 in India. In an interview with a publication, iQOO India CEO, Nipun Maurya, confirmed some of the key features of the device. Around the same time, Trakin Tech, an Indian YouTube channel, released a hands-on video of the Z7 to reveal its design in real life.

The iQOO Z7 5G can be seen in the Norway Blue shade in the hands-on video. The device has flat edges and a thickness of 7.8mm. It is a lightweight device, weighing 173.4 grams.

On the front, the iQOO Z7 has a waterdrop notch display. While the predecessor model, the iQOO Z6 5G, featuring an LCD panel, the Z7 features an AMOLED display, which is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The display is quite bright, offering a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

The iQOO Z7 is a performance-driven phone powered by the Dimensity 920 chipset. The back panel of the device has an OIS-ready 64-megapixel main camera that supports 30fps 4K video recording.

Other reports have claimed that the iQOO Z7 5G has a 6.38-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It will come preloaded with Android 13 OS and FunTouch OS 13. The device is expected to offer 128 GB of native storage.

Coming to the price, it is officially confirmed that the iQOO Z7 will be priced under Rs 20,000 in the Indian market. To recall, the iQOO Z6 5G was made available at a starting price of Rs 16,999 last year. Apart from blue, the iQOO Z7 will also come in a black variant.
