Motorola has just launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The new device is a mid range handset dubbed the Moto G73 5G and is the direct successor to the G72 that was released previously. So let’s have a look.

The smartphone maker has launched the G73 to launch in India with slightly different specs compared to its previous announcement in Europe. The device sports a 6.5 inch LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz high refresh rate. While the aspect ratio and high refresh rate is great, the company downgraded the G72’s display from an AMOLED to an LCD panel. The front also houses a center aligned punch hole camera cutout.

Under the hood, the Moto G73 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC that is paired with 128GB of internal storage. This is also a downgrade from the global variant’s 256GB base configuration. Although, Motorola is allowing users to expand the storage by up to 1TV using a microSD card slot. On the rear, the smartphone features a dual camera setup, consisting of a 50 megapixel primary sensor that has a large 2µm ultra pixel sensor size and an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens. The device will also house a 16 megapixel selfie shooter.

The G73 will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 30W fast charging. Other notable features include, Bluetooth 5.3, 181 grams weight, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Android 13 OS based My UX, fingerprint sensor on the power button, face unlock, and a water resistant design. Motorola has launched the G73 in a single 8GB + 128GB version and it starts from 18,999 INR on Flipkart. The device will be available in two color options, namely Midnight Blue and Lucent White.
