Last month, we got the first details about the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7 series gaming smartphones. The report revealed the model numbers of various devices that will launch under the ROG Phone 7 banner. Now, the ROG Phone 7 has been spotted on Geekbench and 3C certification website revealing some key details regarding the gaming phone.

The ROG Phone 7 has appeared on Geekbench with model number AI2205_B. This device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood that features an octa-core CPU with a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz and a base clock speed of 2.8GHz. It also has the Adreno 740 GPU onboard.

The Geekbench listed variant of the ROG Phone 7 has 16GB RAM and confirmed that it will come pre-installed with Android 13. The phone will also feature the ROG skin UI on top of the Android operating system. According to the listing, the phone achieved scores of 2022 and 5719 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

On the other hand, the model spotted on the 3C database has the model number AI2205_A. The listing confirms that the device has charging speeds of up to 65W. To clarify, the model number AI2205_B refers to the Chinese variant of the ROG Phone 7, while the model number AI2205_A is for the global model.

In related news, the ROG Phone 7D was spotted on Geekbench a few days back with model number AI_2205D. The listing revealed that the device features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is quite odd because the D-models from last year came with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
