Though the demand has eased with the end of the pandemic, OEMs continue to introduce new products. In fact, multiple new brands have started entering this category.
Thus, we are not surprised to learn about the launch of a new tablet by Hisense. This tablet is not only rugged by design but also offers 5G connectivity.
Hisense is well-known for its televisions worldwide. However, the company also sells tablets in select countries.
It has now released a new Android tablet in its home market China. The device is officially called the ‘Hisense P50 5G Rugged Tablet’.
This new tablet from the company is built around a 10.1-inch FHD IPS LCD screen. The panel carries support for a capacitive stylus pen.
The body of the device has both IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. The brand claims the tablet to be explosion-proof. It can be used in mines, petroleum, chemical, and other extreme locations.
Further, the product is powered by a UNISOC Tiger T760 SoC. It boots a deeply customized software for industries based on Android 11. It offers multiple connectivity options, such as 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GNSS.
The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery and comes with a 48MP primary camera. Last but not least, it can be availed in either 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 256GB memory configurations.
