Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition in Australia, aimed at providing businesses with more advanced enterprise tools. The Enterprise Edition models are the same as the regular S23 models in terms of hardware but come with additional features that cater to the needs of businesses. It’s important to note that only Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra variants are available, the Plus model is not included in the Enterprise Edition.

One of the standout features of the Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition is the one-year subscription to the Samsung Knox Suite, which provides multi-layer protection against malware, hacking, and other cyber threats. The suite also allows IT departments to manage a fleet of phones remotely, deploy updates and device configurations, and analyze and get status information on phones and tablets in the field, among other things.
In addition to the Knox Suite, the Enterprise Edition models come with pre-installed Microsoft and Google cloud productivity tools, making it easier for businesses to manage their work on the go. However, it’s important to note that editing Microsoft Office documents still require a license.
The Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition models will be available for two years after launch, and Samsung will supply critical OS updates and security patches for up to five years. Pricing details for the Enterprise Edition models have not been announced, but they will likely be acquired through bulk orders, with each company negotiating its own deal.
Garry McGregor, Vice President of the Mobile Experience Division, at Samsung Electronics Australia, said, “Businesses need devices that are not only powerful and secure but also easy to use and manage.” The Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition is aimed at fulfilling these needs and providing businesses with a device that is not only secure but also efficient in managing their work on the go.
