OnePlus TV Y1S was launched in India in February last year. The TV was made available in two sizes— 32-inch and 43-inch. Now, the brand is reportedly gearing up to bring a new 40-inch size option for its affordable television to the Indian market. It is expected to be priced in the same range as the other two variants and offer a Full HD+ resolution.
Pricebaba, citing tipster Ishan Agarwal, has claimed that OnePlus is readying a new 40-inch size variant of TV Y1S for India. The new TV is said to launch soon in the country but an exact launch date has not been provided. The Chinese company hasn’t made any official yet, so the details about the TV are pretty limited as of now.
OnePlus TV Y1S’ 32-inch and 43-inch models are available at Rs 14,499 and Rs 23,999 in India, respectively. The new size option will sit right in the middle with an expected price tag of around Rs 18,000. It is arguably an attractive price and will likely interest many Indian buyers who are looking to get a OnePlus television.
The existing size versions of the TV share the specifications with almost a similar resolution. We can expect the new 40-inch size option to feature similar hardware. It may support Full HD+ resolution and get a pair of speakers with 20W output and Dolby Atmos support. However, unlike the 32-inch and 43-inch variants, the TV may run the latest version of the Android TV OS— Android TV 12.
Connectivity options on the 40-inch Y1S may include OnePlus Connect 2.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 1 x RF, 1 x AV, 1 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x HDMI 2.0 with ARC, 1 x RJ45, and 1 x digital audio output. It should come with Google Chromecast built-in and support Google Assistant and Alexa.
