Vivo X Flip is the name of Vivo’s first flip phone with a foldable screen. The moniker has appeared in the database of the Google Play Supported Devices List. This indicates that it will not take too long for it go official.

Shown below is the screengrab of the Vivo X Flip’s listing in the Google Play Supported Devices database. The listing shows that the Vivo device with the model number V2256A will be sold under the name Vivo X Flip.

The same model number has been previously spotted at Geekbench, 3C certification, and IMEI database. The Geekbench listing revealed that the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS. The 3C appearance of the device revealed that it may support 44W fast charging.

Past reports have revealed that the Vivo X Flip is equipped with a 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The large external display that will be available on the device’s back supports 682 pixels resolution. It will run on OriginOS 3-based Android 13.

The Vivo X Flip will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4,400mAh battery, which will support 44W fast charging. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo X Flip will have a dual-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide camera. It could be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
