Vivo Y78+ has bagged 3C certification in China. It is listed with model number V2271A. The certification listing reveals the smartphone’s charging speed. Earlier this month, the upcoming offering with the same model number had appeared on TENAA. The listings hint at an imminent launch of the Vivo Y78+.

As per the 3C listing, the Vivo Y78+ will come with support for 44W fast charging. However, the certification listing does not reveal any additional details of the smartphone. As per TENAA, the upcoming offering will be powered by a 4,900mAh battery unit but we assume it will be marketed as 5,000mAh. The device is expected to feature triple rear cameras.

Apart from the aforementioned information, the rest of the key specifications of the Vivo Y78+ remain a mystery. The device is rumored to be limited to the Chinese market but we can expect its toned-down version i.e the Y78 to debut globally. The brand is also yet to confirm the smartphone’s existence. We should learn more details about the Vivo Y78+ in the coming weeks.

In other news, Vivo showcased its upcoming X Fold 2 at the 2023 Boao Forurm in China. It is seen with a renewed design and curved primary display. The foldable phone is set to debut in China next month alongside the purported X Flip and Vivo Pad 2.
