You might be aware that due to the US trade ban, Huawei smartphones don’t support 5G connectivity and are limited to 4G. The latest Huawei P60 Series is no exception to this but there’s good news. A Chinese electronics maker has now launched cases that will bring 5G to the latest P60 and P60 Pro. Here are the details.

In 2023, if you spend top dollar for a smartphone, you expect to get all the latest features. While the Huawei P50 series delivers in the majority of areas, it falls short in terms of 5G connectivity. However, the cases made by Chinese electronics maker, Soyealink are here to change that. The latest 5G cases are available for both Huawei P60 and P60 Pro phones. They come in a metal gray color and are made with PU material, which is highly regarded for its durability and reliability.

The case is claimed to offer dual mode 5G SA and NSA frequency bands and once connected, it will install new on-screen 5G management options. It works with an eSIM in place of the main card, and the installation process is pretty simple. Just place the case on the Huawei P60 and the setup wizard will automatically pop up, providing on-screen instructions.

It comes with a built-in charging port that supports the latest 88W fast charging on both of the models. The case uses a USB Type-C interface and enables you to connect USB 2.0 OTG devices, and digital headsets. It can also be connected to a PC for data transfer.

The Huawei P60 series was unveiled in China and it brings some promising features with itself. You may check out the specifications and pricing of the lineup in our launch coverage.
