Motorola has launched a new G-series smartphone in the US market. It is dubbed the Moto G Power 5G and arrives as the successor to the last year’s Moto G Power 2022. The latest offering packs significant upgrades over its predecessor. Read on to know what it offers out of the box. 

The Moto G Power 5G sports a 6.5-inch center-aligned punch-hole LCD display. It bears an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The back panel has a small rectangular camera module. 

On the imaging front, the Moto G Power 5G has triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. There is a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Moto G Power 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 930 processor based on 6nm architecture. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The device draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging. Software-wise, the G Power 5G runs on Android 13 OS out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the Moto G Power 5G include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The Moto G Power 5G carries a starting price tag of $299.99 for the 4GB + 128GB variant. The price of the 6GB + 256GB variant remains unknown at the moment. The smartphone can be purchased starting April 13th via Best Buy, Amazon, and the brand’s website. It will also be available at Metro by T-Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile in the coming months.
