In December 2022, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro flagship phones in China. Both smartphones have also debuted on the global market. Now, the rumor mill is eagerly waiting for the arrival of Xiaomi’s ultimate flagship phone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Today, Xiaomi officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be unveiled this month (April) in China.

As can be seen in the above tweet, Xiaomi, in partnership with Leica, will offer a top-notch photography experience on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. As it has been previously confirmed by the brand, the 13 Ultra will debut in the global market in the coming months. Here is a look at its rumoured specifications.

Rumors have claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. While its battery capacity is not known yet, it is expected to support 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come preloaded with Android 13 OS and MIUI 14. It is likely to come equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.

On the front, the 13 Ultra will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel will be equipped with four 50-megapixel cameras, which will include a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto camera, and a periscope zoom lens.

As far the Pad 6 series is concerned, the Pad 6 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 870, whereas the Pad 6 Pro is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The Pad 6 Pro will remain exclusive to the Chinese market, whereas the Pad 6 and 13 Ultra will debtut in the global market in the near future.

Some reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch on April 11 or April 18 in China. The company is expected to officially confirm the date soon. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch event will also see the arrival of new flagship tablets named the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.
