Xiaomi 13 Ultra is near, with reports suggesting a launch event on April 17. The handset has been in the news for quite some time now and will likely be the jewel of Xiaomi’s crown. Unlike the last Ultra model, the 13 Ultra will also be made available for the global consumers. While we wait for its official debut, the smartphone has bagged IMDA certification. Here are the details.

The Upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra has appeared on the IMDA certification website of Singapore with the model number 2304FPN6DG. The listing does not reveal any interesting information beyond confirming some obvious features like 5G, Bluetooth, Wifi, and NFC support. However, it hints that Xiaomi’s latest flagship may launch very soon.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra will likely debut with a cutting-edge camera system that may even beat last year’s Xiaomi 12S Ultra (review). Leaks point out to a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch camera sensor, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens, and a periscope zoom camera on the device’s back panel. The Leica-tuned quad-camera setup will be accompanied by a 32MP front-facing camera. The handset should run MIUI 14-based Android 13 O out of the box.

The flagship phone will likely flaunt a 6.73-inch E6 AMOLED curved-edge display with support for a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Being the premium-most smartphone from the brand, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. Its highest variant is rumored to provide 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is anticipated to make its debut in the international market in April, but we are still awaiting official confirmation.
