Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra later this month. It will be the top-of-the-line flagship in the Xiaomi 13 series that includes the standard, pro, and lite models. The brand is yet to announce the launch date of the upcoming ultra variant. However, an online retailer store app in China has put up a section revealing a new event in the home country.

The section on the online retailer store App in China says (translated) ‘Xiaomi New Product Launch’ on April 18th at 19:00 pm local time. It does not explicitly mention Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This is slightly in line with last month’s report where an alleged poster emerged on the internet revealing April 17th as the launch date. We can expect Xiaomi to officially announce the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s date in the coming days.

Similar to the Xiaomi 13 series, the brand is partnering with Leica for the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This means that the upcoming flagship will feature the legendary camera maker’s technology for photography capabilities. The smartphone is also confirmed to debut in the global markets.

As per a recent leak, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with a USB 3.x connectivity port. If it turns out true, it will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to switch from the outdated USB 2.0 standard on its smartphones. The upcoming flagship is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It will reportedly support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
