The original OnePlus Nord was launched back in 2019 and it was the mid-range smartphone most of us were seeking. Its successor, OnePlus Nord 2, continued to impress with a balance of price and specifications. Now, rumors are rife that Nord 3 is near as well. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the smartphone has reportedly entered the testing stage in India and worldwide, hinting at a potential launch on the horizon. Here are the details.

Rumors about the OnePlus Nord 3 have been making rounds on the internet for quite some time and now it appears the smartphone could launch pretty soon. As per tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nord 3 has now entered the testing phase in both Indian and global markets. Although there has been no official confirmation, this development suggests that the smartphone could hit the shelves in approximately six to seven weeks.

It is being reported that the OnePlus Nord 3 will be a rebranded Ace 2V, which debuted in China recently. The smartphone should bring a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, paired with 8GB/16GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The rear panel of the handset is anticipated to sport a triple-camera module, comprising a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. As for front-facing imaging capabilities, the phone is rumored to get a 16MP camera. In addition, the device is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and may even come with an alert slider, a distinctive feature found on previous OnePlus models.
