Earlier this month, the Taiwanese company unveiled the Wildfire E3 Lite in Africa, and now the brand is back with a new and a bit more powerful device. The HTC Wildfire E2 Play has a huge 6.82-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The screen offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 450 nits of brightness. It is equipped with the Unisoc T606 chipset and 8 GB of RAM.

The Wildfire E2 Play has 128 GB of built-in storage, and there is a microSD card slot onboard for more storage. It comes preloaded with Android 12 OS. For security, the device offers features like a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock.

On the front, the Wildfire E2 Play features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device features a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro snapper, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and an LED flash.
